This diffuser plugs into an electrical outlet , by heating, it slowly evaporates an odorless insecticide based on Pyrethroids. For greater effectiveness even with the window open, I recommend that you plug it into the outlet furthest from the window. A refill of liquid insecticide will ensure your protection for 45 nights.
Of course, if this diffuser works perfectly at night, it works just as well during the day.
